When discussing the future of agriculture, it is essential to include and take on board the opinion, vision and dreams of the next generation. I call upon young scientists and farmers to take this opportunity to open up for new insights and share their own ideas.

“To attract and retain youth in Agriculture, we need to broaden the lens through which we see the sector beyond just farming. While farming (and its value chains) might be core; there are other critical functions around Policies, Education,Research, Farming, Finance, Extension and advisory services, Communications, Technologies and Trades.Thus, providing PERFECT opportunities and alternative pathways for youth in Agriculture, that we need to rigorously promote along farming”.
